8C30A8E7-ED3C-4E11-8DDA-8DCF850B03E7.jpeg Got involved over the weekend in a discussion of Krona razors in another forum. During that discussion I realized I had not touched my Krona since August when the original broke and I began shaving again with my back up. Well thanks to another friend on a d...

ED9D34BD-0E55-4B87-AB16-91FF399099A5.jpeg Smooth and comfortable DFS of face and dome. The open comb scalloped head easily mowed down two days’ whisker growth. I agree, and that handle is very ergonomic. The knob at the end sits very comfortably in my palm.

Enjoy your shaves,

Colonial Silversmith Review

Just wanted to post my review of the Silversmith. One of the issues I have with any razor, being in my seventies, is how well it does with ‘old man’ neck. As we age, our skin thins and wrinkles, particularly in the neck area. So I’m always looking for a razor that’s both mild and efficient, yet also...

Rake style razors and the back of my head don’t tend to do so well. My Vector delivered its usual effortless, BBS noggin scrape. SOT...

I have no connection to Kirk and Kyle Evans of Colonial Razor other than as a happy customer. I do live about 35 miles down the road from Birdsboro and have taken delivery of my own Silversmith after having shaved for two weeks with a friend’s from another board back in September. First Head and dome shave with my new Colonial Silversmith razor. In words of one syllable, WOW!! Re: Razor recommendations for shaving your head?

True! It was a Kickstarter and was 10 yrs in development. The design is such that as one side shaves, the other is stropped. I’ve stopped using it, because I was developing ingrown hairs on the back of my neck.

Enjoy your shaves,

OTD 9/15/19 Decent 3 pass shave this morning! One knick on the dome, using a Kai in the AS-D2. I really love Kapo shave cream. Re: Vector SE by Blackland Razors

Gary: I’ve tried the General in a passaround on another board, and will admit it’s a great razor! In fact, I was in the market for a brass one with no success until a friend offered me his Vector for one of my Karve razors (I had two) with several plates. We traded, and I’ve been getting the closest...
