In "An Unfinished Life", Morgan Freeman uses a DE and a brush and a cake of soap, prolly Williams, to shave every morning. Robert Redford helps him out, as Freeman was snacked on by a grizzly bear and has troubles. He applies the cream directly to his face without first wetting his face. Would suck ...

I think that the problem here is that English is not being clear enough in his post, I am assuming because he doesn't want to name individual members. It appears to me that he has certain members in mind. English, rather than being obtuse, I recommend that you name those directly to whom you have of...

Most badger hair for brushes is obtained in China. Most of the badger pelt actually goes for other types of brushes, with only a portion being used for shaving brushes. I have recently seen a video of a Chinese farmer and his methods for slaughtering badgers. I am not saying that all farmers are lik...

Speaking of rupees, there's an interesting note on these Old Spice tubes. It says the maximum retail price for these is 40 rupees, inclusive of all taxes. So this store is selling these for nearly three times the "maximum" price, then charging quite a bit for shipping (as they should, it's a long d...

Good job, Johnnie. Ya, it does get a bit tiresome hearing some of the pushing of product, but it usually is in the shopping area. If people want to endorse a product, so be it. I think most members who do this do so with restraint.

Anybody remember on Saturday Night Live, on a Celebrity Jeopardy sketch, Norm MacDonald played Burt Reynolds, who insisted on being called Turd Ferguson? I love that name. That, and Ass Masterson. Several years ago Letterman had a guy on whose real name was Dick Assman. Now imagine having to go thr...

Isn't a comment like this a veiled personal attack against certain members of ye olde forum? Just wondering.
No Tye. It was a sincere thanks to the mod.

No offence, AACJ, but are you saying behavior such as his is civil? If so, then the logical extension would be that EVERYONE should behave like that. I don't think that is what you are saying.

Re: What I don't understand

I need someone with a business background to explain the Fusion to me. I would say that 75-80% of the guys I know use a Mach 3 and are probably ok with it. Most of the others use an electric. Heck, even the guy who wears a beard uses the Mach 3 to shave his neck. In addition, I hear a lot of compla...

It may be that Gillette really did try to develop a better shaving system, and that they really believe they are doing a service for men and women everywhere. I apologise, fully, not only to all you fine folks, but to the folks at Gillette for judging this action too hastily. I've been reading all ...

I suggest Taylor Avacado. It is getting fantastic airtime on another one of our threads.

It was the first "real" cream I ever purchased. That alone should make you want to buy it!
