The economy here in the USA is definitely negatively affecting the market for all collectibles. It will come around again and the 'hot' items will be up there again. Even now desirable items are moving albeit more slowly then say a year ago at this time.

Yeah, I got a lot out of it when I was reacquainting myself with DEs and wet shaving after a 40 year hiatus. Nice to have all of the info in a compact package and very well written too.

Lately I have been using MWF in combination with a dollop of Salter's cream whipped up in a bowl. I like the fact that the WF has no scent so that the cream scent is dominant.

Re: WTB- 2 band Simpsons brush

After falling in love with my 2 band Polo 8, I'm looking for another 2 band Simpsons. I'd prefer a Tulip or Persian Jar (Yes I understand there is a very slim chance in hell this will happen) I received a 2 band Tulip 4 from Em's today. She had a couple more left. Brand spanky new in the box and a ...

Give them a call. Sometimes the website is not up to date and they do receive razors from TI on a regular basis.

Well it's the old YMMV thing all over again. While they are too expensive for their quality I have gotten Merkur blades along with razors I have bought and I have found them to be a decent blade. Not on par with a Swede or a Feather but not bad. OTOH, you couldn't give me a Dorko yet I read many for...

If it is excellent or better condition you paid a very reasonable price judging from what I have seen them go for in the past. Especially if you got it with the correct case. I've never held one in hand so I cannot comment on the characteristics of the shave. Nice pics of the various editions in the...

If it is Anne Rothstein you are trying to reach it may take some time. She travels internationally quite a bit and it is not unusual for her to get behind in her emails. The last time I corresponded with her it took a few weeks for her to get back to me but she will always respond.

I've heard that there are people strongly against the razor sampler packs but if you're looking for a blade that you like head over to http://www.razorandbrush.com/indexbarbieria.html and check out the awesome selection of everything, especially the Blades and blade sampler packs. Some good blades ...

Shavemac is a fine brush. If not on par with Simpson or Rooney it is within a hair's breadth. I recently bought one of the special bristle brushes and it is a terrific brush. I had asked Bern for a scrubby brush and that is what I got.
