Once you get used to the feel of a sharp, totally bare edge on your face, nothing else is the same.

Got the brush in yesterday. This model: http://www.muehle-shaving.com/shop/_/special_offers/1/shaving_brush/1/23/81_H_72 . Six days from Germany is not bad. Well-packaged. I ran a few suds through it last night and used it this morning. It is a very nice brush -- firm like my other MP and holds up t...

A couple of years ago when I bought a new boat, I naturally had to add some things. My wife began calling the UPS guy the "boat man." Now I guess he's the "razor man" -- but most of my stuff is shipped to the office these days.

Col. Conk's glycerine soaps are great. I use Bay Rum, which smells nice and produces great lather.

The brush I ordered is a regular brush -- not a travel brush. The travel tube from Em's came today, but the brush is coming from Germany, so I guess it might be awhile. Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! :D

Possibly the problem with this batch, although it is so watery, I can't imagine age was the only culprit. FWIW, the member who received it from me also found it unusable.

Someone on another forum mentioned Em's, so I found a link and ordered one of her travel tubes. I also ordered this brush from Muehle-Pinsel: http://www.muehle-shaving.com/shop/_/special_offers/1/shaving_brush/1/23/81_H_72 I've admired it for awhile, and though shipping was more than the brush, I al...

Could you post a link to the stand? What's it made of? Could it be bent? Like your avatar, BTW. One of my favorite movies.

Good travel brush?

I'm looking for a good travel brush in best or silvertip badger. I like a tulip shape and medium size. It doesn't have to be made for travel, but it must come with a nice case for travel. Oh, and it can't be too soft. Suggestions?

Just as an aside to all this, but I know gents in the UK who seem to think that the Skin Food has also recently been altered, and not for the better. Definitely not the case here, as I have two bottles newer than the one in question. This bottle was so thin it rolled off your hand and had started t...

Rob, I am totally satisfied, and you have been a true gentlemen about this. I am disappointed in this bottle and don't plan to use it, but I hate to throw it away. It is a little dark, watery and does not lubricate like the Trumper's Limes I am used to, but it has some scent and lubrication. It's no...
