I looked at it under a jewelers loupe and the metal looks very porous. I have a picture here and you can see what I mean.

I did not drop the razor. I tightened the razor the same amount as I always did only this time it broke. It does look like pot metal in there and I am going to pull out the magnifying glass and check it out as Ed recommended. I did send an email to the vendor asking for warranty information----I'll ...

My EJ89L broke!

My razor broke and left the threads from the head in the handle. I've had it for 13 months. Does any one know the length of the warranty? I'm bummed but I did get a good shave from an old Krona that I had.

I have to make myself shave with both sides. After so many years using carts, I was used to shaving until I filled up with goo and then rinsing. It was a hard habit to break but I did. Now it is shave and fill up then flip and fill up again then rinse. I can't go back.

I think that the tube has more menthol kick than the tub. That's just me though.

Prorasso in the the tub

I usualy use the tube Prorasso but my wife gave one of the tubs for Christmas. Is this supposed to be used like the tube stuff? For the tube, I put a bit in the bottom of my mug and then whip up a lather with my brush. This stuff in the tub is not hard like a soap but more like a thick paste.

I got a free sample of it from Barberia Italiana a good while back and just finished it off---I mostly used it in the shower with a boar brush when I didn't have time for the Prorasso and the badger at the sink. It took me a couple of uses to identify the scent. It was exactly the same scent of some...

I've had cortisone in both elbows--twice in one of them. It hurts to get the shots but it is well worth it. My injury comes from my woodworking hobby---sanding by hand causes it. I have found that a wrist guard like you might use for skating protection is a great help(it was recommended by my doctor...

The Zune did things I didn't want it to do like try to arrange my music the way it wanted to, go get podcasts on it's own, shut off after bing paused for only a short time, the navigation seemed cumbersome, it would not save where you were in a song or podcast, etc. It sure was pretty though. My mai...

Anyone have Zune HD?

I bought one a few weeks ago and it just didn't suit me. I had been using a Sandisk e250 that was getting a bit long in the tooth and thought I'd try something new. The Zune was not it and I hate ipods. I went for another Sandisk unit. To get to the point, I have a soft rubber case and a couple of s...

I really do like the Iridiums but I have discovered through much use that it is actually my second favorite------my favorite is not listed here and that is the Kai blade. I need to get with Dridiot and get some more. If you have not tried the Kai, I suggest that you do.

I have some hearing loss in the upper ranges---from many unprotected years in a machine shop. My tinnitus is mild and it only bothers me when I think about it---like trying to sleep when I'm not sleepy. I have been considering hearing aids but they are very expensive. If you don't mind my asking, wh...
