The D.R. Harris Bay Rum lasts very long (at least on me) and I think it is much superior to Pinaud's which I didn't care for because of its synthetic scent.

I would like to know which Merkur you guys favour and why. It would be great if the people who vote have really used both razors.

Harris Traditional Question

Is the Harris Traditional very similar to Harris Freshening and Classic? I understand they are all citrus colognes and as I am usually not a big fan of those scents I wanted to ask you if it would be a fair assessment that if I don't like one of the three colognes I won't like the other two? I am as...

Clive, did you ever try a Jever? It's a bit stronger than Becks but I think it is up your alley.

I chose Stephen Colbert because he is an American hero :D and one of my favourite comedians. As for the Username, I came up with that one because truth or truthiness as Colbert calls it plays an important role in his tv show The Colbert Report.

Would trade the whole lot for a new puck (refill) of Trumper's Violets or Truefitt & Hill Ultimate Comfort or the Puig Agua Lavanda and/or some Swedes.

It costs 58€ in Europe.

I currently have the "normal" Slant and am quite happy with it, but I am tempted to try this one. Nevertheless I will buy the regular 38C next week and see how this one will work for me.

Merkur 39C aka Slant Barberpole is out now!

The Merkur 39C, a 38C-Slant combination is out, at least in Germany, don't know anything about international release.

Take a look!
