Re: AMAR Aloecream

Based on suggestions from this group, I've started popping into various Indian markets when I notice one. Surprisingly I have not found any selling creams. I can't say I've been in too many, but a few every once in a while. Will keep trying....

Re: Top Secret shave cream

Wendell, I thought the same thing and figured I'd get a reaction from you. This week I tried the top secret and the fat on back to back days. I'm not saying its as good overall by any means. But in the lanolin-face-softness test, it was a nice competitor!

Top Secret shave cream

I did a search on SMF and found hardly any references to Top Secret "Lanolizado" shave cream, from Portugal. I ordered some recently and have been using it frequently in my rotation. What a nice cream! Its made with Lanolin, so it leaves my face very soft, clean and moisturized. Lather easily into a...

Re: Today a package from Turkey arrived....

I love finding a good bargain shave cream. I have plenty of top shelf products, but I think Squire put it quite well with the "uncomplicated shave. " Have not tried ARKO, but it will be on my list next purchase!

Re: Finally A Son Asks To Use My Gear

That's a great feeling, Wendell. My son is 18 and has been working a brush and nice creams for a while now. He hasn't tried a DE yet, but I may see if he is now interested. Its great to share a good hobby with a child.

Re: Razor storage

I have a nice cigar box that I converted into blade and razor storage. I lined it with felt, and did have some nice balsa wood dividers, although I have ditched those from it now. The razor packs line up neatly in the box. Then I keep my 'active', open packs in my bathroom drawer of my sink/ cabinet...
