Re: Winston Churchill

....Of course Churchill is known to have worn Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet Cologne.... From my vast store of knowledge (wikipedia): Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet was created in 1902 and was the company's first bespoke fragrance for the Duke of Marlborough at Blenheim Palace. The palace is the birt...

Alex Karpenko, 35, who teaches English, was taught how to shave with everyday objects by his Second World War veteran grandfather.

I see a computer in the photo and he speaks English, so you figure he would fit-right-in on SMF.

Another opinion... this from Market-Ticker forum http://market-ticker.org/ Steve Jobs? Oh sure, he "gave you what you wanted." But he did it, and turned Apple into a household name with massive profits, by exploiting child and near-slave labor to the point that their contract factories in China have...

Good pictures of a beautiful spot, one of my favorites. I hope you also went up the Elwha River and perhaps saw Hurricane Ridge. Thanks! We did drive up to Hurricane Ridge. Beautiful place for sure. http://s1.postimage.org/1e3pe84n8/IMG_2557s.jpg Live Web Cam (same view as photo but live): http://w...

Great story. I did a little of this sort for my dad back in the day. Wish I had done more now looking back. He certainly deserved it.

Nice place to hang out. 8) I was nine years old in 1961, but I don't really remember Kenedy doing this. Glad he did. Really nice color rendition on the photos and good sharpness too. Your 500x355 size images have a little larger file size than my 712x400 that I just posted. Maybe you have less compr...

Crescent Lake in the Olympic National Forest

A few vacation snapshots from Washington last month. Swallow Tailed Kite Video

I shot this video in our backyard in August with my point-n-shoot digital still camera in video mode. The bird shown is a swallow tailed kite and is an unusual, hawk-like creature of these parts.

My preference is the celebratory: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0SpwEdU5ak Some are happy, and some are sad. I attended a funeral a while back of a fine young man whose life ended unexpectedly. At the end of the small service they asked the public to leave as the family made their last goodbyes. ...

Rotated to Klar Kabinett today, and as usual it was very gratifying. I love this soap.

I have plenty in reserve, but my hoarding instinct says get more! (This from the same inner voice that told me I need 20+ straight razors. )

I've never seen one of these in person. They have a cool history that's for sure.

I wonder who was first to use the "tiptle" acronym.
