Re: Review - AP Shave Co Brushes

Bill K, thanks for the thoughtful and informative synthetic brush reviews. I have all of the same brush heads, except for the Cashmere. In my hands, the favorites so far are the SilkSmoke and the Tuxedo. The SilkSmoke does have soul in my experience, and I love using it for soaps and creams alike. I...

Re: Vetiver

I have just completed several days using Salter's French Vetiver shaving cream, and I love it. Performance and scent are top shelf, and it's residual property is slick, just as I like it!

I hate to recommend this, but it sounds like you might be better off using a shave oil or a brushless shave cream instead of soap. Psoriasis loves oil and grease, and gets extremely itchy when dried by soaps or detergents. Concoctions like Edge gel might also work as they have very little detergent...

Re: What made you smile today?

I've finished a project ahead of schedule at work. I've been working quite a lot for the last 6 weeks (on top of the already pretty demanding job I've been doing for the last 2 years) and my girlfriend and I didn't really have the time to enjoy being together, or to go out and do interesting things...

Helpful suggestions:

Lately I've been studying the internet, and have found some helpful tips that might make life easier: 1. In the event of tornados or other natural disasters, place wieners and/or slices of cheese in your pockets so the search dogs will find you first. 2. If you are arguing loudly on your phone in pu...

Re: Brush of the day

Following several weeks of rotating a few other favorite brushes, it once again becomes very clear that my top choice remains to be the SilkSmoke synthetic brush set in the sweet custom Vladimir Ferdman ironwood handle.

Putting a finishing touch to this thread, Joey Logano won the 2018 Nascar Championship, Martin Truex Jr. finished at 2nd place, and Kevin Harvick in 3rd place. Now Nascar is anticipating the start of the 2019 Series in Daytona sometime in February.

Does ABS make any difference for these wreckless skidders?
Yes, and no. I love ABS equipped vehicles. It wasn't standard until sometime around the 1990's or so. It only became mandatory in 2013 in USA.
