I had wondered the same thing. I guess, if it shaves half as good as a Daisy shoots - well, you'll put your eye out!

FS: DR Harris Lavender in bowl - Sold

For Sale (or trade): Sold

DR Harris Lavender shave soap in mahogany bowl. Used 3-4 times. $20 CONUS.

Great soap, but not too keen on the lavender. Will trade for Harris Marlborough items or Knize 10 items.

PM me.

I bought a puck of the Edwin Jagger Sandalwood a little while back from shaving essentials. The puck was indeed on the smaller side, but it wasn't too expensive compared to some of the other top shelf soaps. Enjoyed the scent and got a good, slick lather. The scent was a bit sweeter than other Sanda...

Indeed. Somewhat frustrating for ocd shavers. My T&H lavender soap did that, however, I have had no such problem with Harris soaps.

The Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra albums are top notch, but one I also like is the Christmas album by the Squirrel Nut Zippers. Not necessarily traditional though.

That reminds me;

Three deaf engineers on the golf course.

First fellow says "It's windy"

Second fellow says "No, it's Thursday"

Third fellow replies "So am I, lets get a drink."

They look quite a bit like Panama hats.

I enjoy them in their context, but others may disagree

Just out of curiosity, what do your have the Futur dialed in at? The HD can be slightly aggressive for a beginner. At least, that is what I found. I switched up to a SuperSpeed (slightly less aggressive, in my opinion, than the HD), and found the irritation disappeared. Once I improved my technique ...

Straight Razor Design - Great Service

Just wanted to drop a quick note on the top notch service by Don at Straight Razor Design. I emailed Don on Saturday about a mistake on an order of mine, and was surprised to get a response that same afternoon. Must care about his craft if he is putting in hours on the weekend! None the less, proble...

Looking for specifics, I would imagine, is more in the trial and error route. Unfortunately, it is costly. Check out those houses on basenotes and other sites - I would bet there are some reviews to get you going on a scent you like. For some reason, the English seem to have this sight locked up. An...

Perhaps "adherents" is rather strong, but I thought I had seen some members post that they prefer to use oil. (none of the regulars, of course)

I have never found the need to be shaving more than once a day So many James Bond aficionados around, I thought there was a quote in one of the Flemming books about distrusting anyone who shaved more than once in a day. Squire excluded, of course (as Ian would have wished). Personally, the only rea...
