I hope that the vague 'released this year' reply won't put people off from buying them. There are plenty of razors on the market for those of us who aren't 'key people' to purchase and be perfectly happy with. -Tye iKon Razors will be around for years to come , Gillette , Merkur etc. all had to sta...

I had a razor mishap the other day. I finished shaving and rinsed of my merkur HD and went to set it with the head on my shaving brush stand and I somehow come up short.......I took a few hairs off my badger brush.

Thanks for serving! Back in my day in the late 80's we had a PX run on day 1.75 (we didn't sleep the first night) At the mini mcx we all did a walk through with a shopping list, bic or gillette disposabal razors, can of Gillette foamy, and ice blue aqua velva, and a bunch of other various health and...

Well I'm just a few months into the DE razor and brush lathering so take my advice with a bucket of salt. If I can't take the time to do it right, I just use the goo. One pass and a few touch up on spots and drive on. I'll catch up on a nice shave on the next day and not have the irritated patches t...

Crunchy, The BB's mixed with the Col. Conk's lime was a good shave! I applied the Burt's Bees to my face and then applied my mug lathered Col Conk's and face lathered it in. Slicker than ........ I'll just say it was slick and a BBS. Used the Merkur HD with a fresh yellow Gillette 7 o'clock. hot wat...

Thanks for the warm holiday welcome. :D I like that idea of the superlather. I already have some Col Conk's Lime. It seemed to dry my skin out so maybe your combo would be a perfect symbiotic relationship with the burts bees. So far I've been quite the lurker and have been very interested in digging...

I got a Col Conk styptic pencil when I got my first DE shaving kit a few months ago. It looks like a chapstick case but the cap is the long part and the stick holder is the short part. I think I messed up by not drying it properly. I'd use it and rinse it off and then just stick the plastic cap back...

Guilty of shaving purchases while Christmas shopping!

Well I couldn't help it as I hit the stores. I bought some "me" stuff while Christmas shopping. Granted I didn't get any high end stuff, you simply don't see it in my locale. I'm a relative newb as you probably can deduce from my post count. Some simple purchases -clubman Island Bay Rum after shave ...

The web site looks nice. I realize you just got it up because I was looking for it for a few days and you're not done yet. I noticed that you don't have your spec's on your classic. I'd add weight and handle length to all of them when you get a chance. Overall it looks good........except that "sold ...
