Friday

Harris H1 brush: for a little brush, a lot of lather
Harris lavender soap
Merkur progress/feather blade
KMF lavender and shea mosturizer

Nothing else I've used seems to work as well as the DR Harris hard soaps.

Benzaledhyde is a chemical that smells like almonds. It is what gives the soap its almond scent.

Although TSA has shifted their focus somewhat, blades of almost any type, including DE razor blades, are still not allowed. However, they are seldom noticed on routine screening of carry on bags, but I have had a razor found on closer personal inspection. Your best bet, when travelling by air, is to...

Ren asked: Why do these birds require scales, and high resolution scales at that?

DR Harris brush

Are there any US suppliers for DR Harris brushes? Any source other than the DR Harris web site?
I notice that Knoxville cigar has a gift package with a DR Harris brush and a bowl of soap, but it doesn't specify which exact brush it is. Anyone know?

Thanks

I can appreciate that across companies, badger grades might not be comparable. But wouldn't it be reasonable to expect that within a given producer, there would be consistency across grades? Shouldn't one CH2 Super be like another? (Especially since so many brushes are bought sight unseen.) Obviousl...

"super" badger

Nathan wrote that "One Simpson Super should be like another Simpson Super." I have noticed considerable variability in the appearance of chubby supers in various pictures on this site. My own chubby 2 super has light tipped bristles with a black base that stays black to the handle, much like the col...

I'll second the nomination for the Kiss My Face creams. Lathers better or at least as good as the English creams, at a fraction of the cost. Their moisturizers are also hard to beat at any price.
