[quote="brothers"]Murray, I'm quite impressed by your ability to identify and then build a strong reserve of those few products that sit atop the mountain in your shave den. I wasn't able to begin the process of narrowing my focus until about two years ago. Since then I've continued to thin down the...

Gary, thanks for the clarification as I thought it looked like a two-piece as well. Great looking scuttle. Clive, I have a Dirty Bird two piece and generally like it. The depth of the top piece makes it hard to lather with some Stubby/Chubby shorter or smaller brushes. Since I have an Emillion, a co...

Gary the only brush that compares with the Rooney Finest IMHO is the first offering of the Simpson Heritage and I have the Emillions. Also, about the same time, I bought a Chubby 2 and Polo 8 two band supers. They seem to also have a comparable hair/feel and seem to have the tops matted together aft...

Thanks Brian, and I have owned the razor for over five years but never used it. It is nice to have someone like you as the new owner who appreciates what I once treasured. It is enjoyable to show my collection to family and grandsons who are amazed at the quality and beauty of the 100 + year old raz...

John, try using a 30's Tech head with the square grooves and an EJ head on your Bulldog iKon handle. I know you do not like the open combs, but the long comb New head from the 30's is another combination that is fun to try.
