Homebrew

I have so little on common with this administration, that I've got to assume that it will taste like toilet water.

Wendell, do you think some prankster may have swapped out the MWF for some lye soap?

Somebody would earn a one way ticket to hell to do that to the Evangelist!

MWF is different, but It works great. With my water, (I don't know if it's hard or soft.) It makes a thin, dense lather. Nothing like the kid in the Mr. Bubble commercial. It holds plenty of water and one cake lasts a long time. I've never experienced the squeaky clean feeling. The lanolin takes car...

Squire summed it up in just a few words.

The only thing that I'd add is that the few minutes of self indulgence is a real morale booster to start the day.

Squire's Sticky post is a tremendously comprehensive resource. I sure thank him for posting all of that good information. It must have taken a long time to log little bits of information each day. By reading dozens of peoples posts, I've been able to avoid mistakes. This is one "sport" that more is ...

The semi-scientific search for the favorite blade.

A few months ago I bought a variety pack of different blades. I believe I can say that my favorite are Feathers and a distant second are the others. I just don't seem to tell a noticeable difference in most of the other more common blades. Its hard to fairly compare a 5 day old blade to one fresh ou...

A good source for old books is called Abe Books dot com. When it comes to history I like to read about from a closer to the time perspective also.

I have a Honda. It's only 2 yrs old. The handles meet me at my pants pockets. I'm 511" tall. It's tremendously awkward to mow "Underhanded". It's nor adjustable either. It starts in the first 5 pulls usually. In the last 5 years I managed to kill a Honda Generator and a Honda pressure washer. I borr...

Don't make your barber laugh!

I went to the barber shop today. Right as the barber was shaving the edges with a strait razor. We were talking about kids. I told of the time when I was 14 that there was no way that you could convince me that I didn't NEED to have a Falcon! He jumped back and laughed, then told me not do do that a...
