Re: Emillion 2 Specs Wanted

Hello- So, I'm thinking about having an Emillion 1.5 made. In order to do that I need specs. I have the specs for the Emillion 1. I'm wanting to gather the dimensions for an Emillion 2. If someone would post knot size, loft, handle height and even handle diameter, that would be quite helpful. Thank...

I just got done using mine for the first time as well. Lathered it up with some P.160 and shaved with a Revisor. There's a fair amount of funk so I took it in the shower first and lathered it up 3 or 4 times, but it will take a few shaves to get rid of the badger smell. It wasn't nearly as scritchy ...

Is Vie-Long making this claim or does it come from the vendor? The link in the OP is from Best Grooming Tools: http://bestgroomingtools.com/vielong-16920-silvertip-badger-hair-natural-horn-20mm-p-1659.html It's unclear whether it is their description, or whether they are parroting the manufacturer.

My first Simpson was an X2. It was a great brush, plenty dense but not quite as packed as a Duke. Very easy to use and hold; really a great brush. It led to quite the case of SBAD... Hope you enjoy it for many years. Really, it's all one needs, brushwise. It would be dull round here if we all stuck...

Just want to say that I received Hanami and Monaco creams, plus five assorted bath soaps, and a sample of Esquire. Great stuff!! The creams are fantastic, and the bath soaps lather so well I'm sure I could easily shave with them.
I'll be ordering again. Well done.

Re: Simpsons Commodore X2

So I received my first Simpsons brush for Christmas this year... Hmm...Christmas comes early in Tennessee! That is a beautiful X2--I hope you have many years of great shaves with it. It does sound like SBAD is taking hold, so I look forward to seeing more shots of your brushes soon. Merry Chr...

How would you compare the 2-band to the 3-band?
