So am I correct in assuming that a Somerset Simpsons brush just means one that was made between 1941 and 2008? Thanks, everybody.

I have to display my ignorance here. I think I understood that Simpsons moved to Somerset in 1941. So what constitutes a Somerset Simpsons brush? What time frame are the Somersets? And for what qualities are they known? If someone knowledgeable has a moment to enlighten me, I'd really appreciate it.

I hope I'm not off topic here, and maybe I'm comparing apples to oranges, but the Chubby 3 Manchurian I got not too long ago just feels a lot denser and "richer" somehow than the newer Chubby 3 in super that I also use. I don't know how old the super is, but I suspect it's a lot newer than the Manch...

I bought the brush. (The phone rang, a voice said, "Why don't you pass the time by playing a little solitaire, then I saw the Red Queen and I HAD to buy the brush....) I'm really looking forward to trying it.
