No, suppliers with or without a warrant always charge for their goods and services. I am not aware of any way in which the Royal Family benefit from this. Gareth my first post deleted here in 6 years! i shall choose my words carefully here then..... well even if the companies with the royal warrant...

I purchased it from Razor Emporium about 6 weeks ago, and have given it a fair trial, but is too mild for me.
wow! you must like a pretty agressive razor. the red tip is the most agressive superspeed of that era, followed by the silver and then the blue tip.

at the start of the week i choose a razor and blade and stick to using that for my shaves that week. i just couldn't be bothered taking the blade out and transferring it into a new razor everyday. for the next week i'll change either the type of blade or the razor or both. everything else changes on...

I think this is a fair assessment. Here TV commercials regularly feature Prince Charlie announcing to the world that he is, in fact, a PC; the Queen entreating the nations youth to 'Just Do It', and of course the minor gentry hawking everything from aftershave to 4-door family cars to an adoring, o...

i'm sure they might get something out of it. free cornflakes maybe? they get everything else handed to them for free, so why should this be any different.

in any event, what the royal family get out of it and if so how much wasn't the point i was making. see above.

So that means that Corn Flakes are a simple but high-quality product ... or, the Royals are a bunch of greedy corporate schills. I presume you fall on the more crass side of the equation? my reference to kellogs cornflakes is my way of demonstrating to those that do not have the first clue about ro...

You Brits can tell me if I'm wrong, but I understand that the premise of the Royal Warrant is that the royals have the money to buy the very best, and the education to discern quality.
hummm, well to give you an example, kelloggs cornflakes has the royal warrant on it.....

If you look at B&B, or the British forum, nobody really rates Trumpers etc. There was a thread about the 'worst' soaps available on B&B recently, and Trumpers was second after Williams Mug soap. And then look at the praise and popularity the Italian soft soaps receive, or the German tallow ...
