Three cheers for the team! It feels so good to be back.

I was starting to have withdrawals.

Old Spice. It's the only thing men should wear. 8) Seriously though, I love Old Spice. Also, English Leather is pretty nice, as is British Sterling. Also, Canoe freaking rocks. While I rarely wear it because of a bad decision on a drunken night, Royal Copenhagen used to float my boat quite a bit. Mu...

Terrorist attacks in Bombay based from Pakistan. A government with nuclear weapons on the verge of collapse. Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda still operating on the northern border of Pakistan. The mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks was captured hiding in Pakistan. http://topics.nytimes.com/topic...

Is there really a better marketing slogan? "Afta. The women'll love it".

If I ever start an aftershave/cologne company. That's going to be mine...

What world news? Is there something going on that I don't know about? Oh no. TREETS!

I think what this means is that we need to proselytize the way of the DE.

Yeah. I'm going to have to give it a shot.

Its really odd though. Of all the times I've seen it on the shelf, I've never even taken a whiff of it.

Might pick some up tomorrow when I'm running errands.

Somehow I managed to miss this thread for over a week. What happened? Yeah, I like Afta. It was my first aftershave. Ever. When I was 16 I took a trip with my grandpa. I was shaving in the hotel one morning and he saw that applied no aftershave. He tossed me he bottle of AFTA and told me to ...

It certainly seems that way.

All I have to say is that for my birthday, my girl ought to be wearing that for me.

I say thumbs down. To me, they were like shaving with a dull blade. They were rough and irritating.

Do yourself a favor and get some Israeli Personnas or some Tigers. My two favorite blades as of yet.

Do you have a DE at all? If not, I'd suggest a vintage Gillette or a Merkur of some type. Just my thoughts though. I own a Weishi, and it's good, but to be honest, I wish I had just bought a Merkur straight away. I like my Gillettes a great deal, but IMHO, you can't beat a Merkur Progress with a sti...

A million bucks that cost you what, 15 minutes and 10 cents?

That's why I love oldschool wetshaving.
Not if you count your whole collection

Can't beat that Sienna with a stick.

One of my favorite fragrances. In fact, the only one I have the whole collection on. It's a damn shame they did away with the shave cream. Damn shame.

Thanks for the good words. With any luck, things will go my way. I'm not really all too worried. And it's very true that one needs to take time out. I've always believed this, but never thought it would come in the form of shaving. I guess there are surprises around every turn in this demolition-der...

A Little More Human

Well, this semester has been unusually stressful and busy. I've been on the go so much that I've been reduced to getting a shave whenever I can. This generally means disposables and Foamy. Even an... electric shaver once while driving to school . Finals are this week, and I don't have any unt...

As far as weight compensation goes, it would probably be the same as a disposable goes right?

Or would one really just shave like using a regular DE?

Indiana Jones stuff.

Props, costume items, memorabilia. If it's Indy, I want it. I even bought a a box of Cinnamon Streusel Mini Wheats today because Indy was on the box, and if Indy's on the box, it has to be good.

Aside from that, cigar and pipe stuff. I love me my cigars and pipes.
