A terrific splash on lavender is Agua Lavanda Puig. Amazon has it and it's very popular in Europe. They also offer an EdC which was reputedly Frank Sinatra's favorite.
It's wonderful stuff and comes in an interesting bottle. I have some Caldy island that I don't like nearly as well as Agua Lavanda.

Re: Frostbite soap... available soon
Gosh I love your Frostbite! Not just the fabulous menthol rush, but the complex notes that make up the "background" scent - really lovely stuff (wish you offered 8oz bottles, or bigger). I am absolutely not in the slightest need of another shaving soap, but I will have to get a tub of this.

Re: Discovery re Feather MR3 Neo / Gillette Pivot Ball 5 bla
RSP1202's "grand immelmanns and Dutch rolls -- air show shaving" is priceless! I love shaving with my DE but I will admit to being really attracted to this razor. For one thing, it looks like a flippin' Jetsons razor. For another, the pivot lock feature seems like a terrific idea. I will m...

Re: Getting Rid Of Old (new) Blades
I can get at least one shave with any blade I've tried. An earlier post mentioned Merkur - Dorco is another "bottom feeder" blade for my beard. I found that corking the blade before use will at least tone down the bad qualities, even if it can't help the poor, sad blade be any better. Also...

Re: Ikon Shavecraft 102 -- first shave
My 102 performs very well (maybe a little clunky around the nostrils) - I'm glad I got it. I have to admit that I fail to see much advantage over simply holding any blade at a similar slant. Most of the other slants in production actually twist the razorblade itself - even the other iKon slants. Min...

Re: BIC 1 Sensitive single blade disposables
I think they're great little shavers too. Not quite as good as the BiC METAL for travel, but they're nearly impossible to find. That leaves the Gillette GUARD as the only single edge disposable alternative that I'm aware of. Seems a bit silly prohibiting DE blades in carry-on bags, yet allowing fres...
