And tonight I was the lone bidder on an EverReady '19. $5.99 took it.

Or is it a '25? I dunno. I'll decide when it gets here. Waits tells me it could be either, unless I missed something. I never heard of a 1919.

Made an offer and it was accepted- GEM MM Clog Pruf

SE razor (I left that out of the subject line) I've been wanting a Clog Pruf for awhile, I love the OCMM, so it just seemed logical to buy one. $11 delivered didn't seem too bad. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400239994696&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:US:1123 Other than the s...

Tetanus? From a brass base with plating over it? Not likely. More likely other stuff. But if it's sat for a time (days) you're good. Washing it makes it better for the mind to handle. I use a detergent that you can't easily obtain, but even dish detergent and a hot water soak, then a toothbrush brus...

Yup, exactly what you wrote... they get better with a little use on 'em for me as well, except I get 7 shaves and then I can 'em. I have no idea how many shaves I can actually get from one. I never pushed 'em any harder than 7 shaves. Someday I'll test one (and all my best blades as well) to it's li...

My neck has never felt, nor looked, this good in as long as I can remember. Moving from carts to a brief DE affair to my beloved SEs was the best thing I've done for my skin ever! I think my wife would hate it as much, if not more, than me if I went back to carts. Does the "SE" mean singl...

I can't imagine going back to cart's. Heck, I can't even remember having used them, yet I know I did. I also remember that I didn't quit them because of terrible shaves, but because of expense. I simply wasn't going to buy anymore of the expensive things. I did save some carts for air travel, and I ...

Stamp (like the kind that require stamp pads) racks work also.

If you google it, be sure to look at the first few pages of hits. I found some good ones quite a way in.

I use similarly sized Simpsons regularly in my rotation; a Special in Best (40mm loft) and another in Pure (44mmloft). I face lather and it'll easily hold enough lather for 3+ passes.

I use low end soaps in my rotation too.

Just curious, do you have hard or soft water?

I would pretty much agree with your assessments. One point of disagreement, but my results and your results are what we get, and can't be disputed. That's why I asked about the water hardness.
