OK guys. I'll take all the Feathers that you care to send. I find them to work well in my 30's Tech razor.

You snooze you loose.

Is this brush an okay starter for someone I'm trying to convert from Barbersol?

I thought I'd could find a basic inexpensive brush at Walgreens. No such luck. NADA.

The selection at Walgreens on many items seeems to shrink. Guess I'm looking for the wrong items, huh?

I was in on of their shops in San Jose. The clerk guy fixed me up with several samples of their creams.

I find them to be quite nice. Not as nice as Floris but still nice.

I have a vintage Old spice mug that I heat in the sink filled with hot water. I make lather in it whether I'm using cream or soap. Between passes I place the mug back in the sink. It keeps the lather warm. Perhaps I'll try making lather on my face, but I'm satisfied with the results I'm getting. Jus...

The date code is K and 2. From what I researched that's 1965. As for the shave on both sides, darned if I know. I'll try it again and pay attention to whether there's a difference.

Hi Herbert- Welcome! I switched from gook in a can to Williams soap about a year ago. I've been using creams for about 4 months now. Just recently I reveived some Floris cream samples. They're great! If the soap us as good as the creams, I think I'll give it a try. Do you have a preferred flavor?

Thank you to each for your responses- I think I'll list the SS on eBay and go after an HD. I do have a vintage Eversharp Schick that I'll use in rotation with the NEW until then. Oh yeah, I've got another Schick and an early three piece Gileete coming from successful EBaying. Hmm. Seems like a buddi...

Super Speed Ain't Cuttin It

Hi Guys- I'm a new member here and am looking for some help. I've been wet shaving all my life (cartridge and foam until recently). I've been using a brush and soap for about a year. So about three months ago, I bought a Super Speed from an eBay seller. I don't know where to look for the date code s...
