Re: not sure
There is really no way to know for sure BUT 11th use on the blade AND 4 passes might have to do something with it. You have probably put a little too much pressure and took some extra skin off with not so sharp blade.

It looks great! Is it slippery when wet or you hold it on the knurling?

It does have a new scent. I know it was supposed to be the same as original with "modern" scent, but I think they've missed on it, I prefer original.

Re: Need pillow advice
If you have a Medical Supply store near by, the one that distributes to hospital, nursing homes, etc., stop by and ask for advise. Believe it or not, they are way more professional than any store that sells pillows, they also have access to all brands and will get you a deal.

ABCBA is really really good, we just had another group buy and 15 shares went fast. Joe did mention that he is working on getting it under his label but this might take a while.

Finest and D01 are not the same. Finest is closer to Simpsons Best, D01 is packed more and has a stronger backbone. That said, finest has very nice face feel.

I always overload soaps and only notice slightly when the cake thins. Great buy either way, for the price per shave, exce...

They do not have similar scents, to my nose anyway. Blue has more powdery scent and little less menthol kick.

They do make great soaps, reasonably priced too. Arlington is not me however, Windsor all the way. It's the only scent that I have in soap, cream, aftershave, and EdT. They just started shipping Windsor Milk to US vendors, so I will be getting that too
