i just got my gillette slim adjustable returned to me. i lent it out to a curious friend. i've noticed that compared to my futur the gillette is much lighter in weight and smaller. the gillette is so much lighter and compact that it feels like a sports car and the futur feels like the bismark battle...

nother topic from the newbie :D what is the difference in the head of the various merkur razors? everyone raves about the HD. is the HD head any different than the head on the progress? if not, why wouldn't everyone just buy a progress? i have a futur and notice that the top cap of the razor appears...

adjustable razor vs. 1st and 2nd shaves
hi guys. i'm new to the DE shaving scene. i'm using a futur set on number 2 setting. i may not be doing the best method of learning but i am trying several different blades in order to find one i like. so far, when i'm using what is considered a "good" blade, ie. merkur and english wilkins...
