Don't feel like your face is crazy.

I have several spots below the jawline that have hair growing in several directions. So that last across the grain pass requires that I lather up the same place a couple of times.

Hard to stop that tendency to press too hard.

If you have razor burn in only one place (on one cheek, for example), you're almost certainly using more pressure there, and/or a bad blade angle. Shave that area with very short strokes, paying careful attention to pressure, and also to blade angle. All this assumes that your prep is good and you ...

ok...quick question...if you are having to apply pressure to shave a certain area of your face with a DE, is that an indication that you might want to adjust it to a slightly more aggressive setting?

Economic Left/Right: -0.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.49

On the short quiz I scored...

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 70%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 90%.

Strongly libertarian

I agree completely with this one.

Treating a dry patch on the ole face

OK. I just want to throw this out to the wise sages here on the forum who might have a solution. Most of my face is naturally oily. However, there is a patch on my jawline on the right side of my face and runs down a bit on my neck below. This area is drier and more prone to razor burn and tough sha...
