Art, If, by your own admission, you've needed time to recover, then we can assume that, among other things, the wine was also good. Hopefully, you no longer look like the gentleman in your avatar. I'm glad you and your wife "got to know each other again" and that you got a chance to enjoy ...

Mark,
Kermit the frog's assertion to the contrary, you prove that indeed it can be easy being green...to think that the producers of the The Incredible Hulk cast Lou Ferrigno in green body paint, when they could have had this formidable specimen.

I'm sure she was happy with whatever you decided but we need details brother. Aside from the recent debate on Silvertip, th...

Sam, I am confused as to whether the problem with your brush is that some of the bristles have "curled" toward the center of the brush or if the bristles are all pointing in the same direction but have splayed outward leaving a "crater" on the top of the brush. In the former case...

Sam, Further to the discussion of how to maintain a shaving brush, I would add the following. The shaving brush should always be rinsed properly after every use, so that there is no residual soap build-up. This is similar to the treatment of a good paint brush which will be more difficult to clean i...

Todd, I own a few pairs of Allen Edmond shoes and have been very satisfied with them. I always opt for the models with double leather soles. They will easily last over 10 years or more if properly maintained. I am partial to the AEs because of the available sizes (12EEE in my case). I am not so fond...

beer

Rustyblade, I followed your lead for some DR Harris shaving cream from Chapters/ Indigo and will take your recommendation for the King Pilsner at the LCBO. However, I disagree with you on the subject of drinking beer out of a glass in order to show it respect. There are times to sip and there are ti...
