I adjusted the angle like the instructions above and got an improved shave. Still not as good as my DE shaves but pretty close. Do you normally have to use an efficient combo out of your DE razor and blade to get a good shave? If so, then it could just be that the 1912 is not enough SE for you. The...

I also don't seem to get the closest shaves with the 1912 models. So far my favorite SEs are the Micromatics (Open Comb & Clog Pruf). The Gem Featherweight also performed well but needed a full pass more than the Micromatics do to get the same results. I'll be giving my 1924 ER a drive for the f...
