Greetings Gordon, Ken, Peter (Groeten!)
One thing that you might fail to recall.. CAR has his Manchurian (Extra Super?) specially shaped for the method approach. I believe that may explain some of the differences.

thanks guys, this sounds like an ideal scent for me. I'll place an order for some now. Regs, Andy Andy, I think you will look back on this decision as a wise one. Of all the Taylor's cologne fragranced creams, Shaving Shop has the most pronounced fragrance, and perhaps the most delightful one at th...

Shaving Shop is favorite shave of mine. Definitely starts off citrus and dries down to herbals. Very pleasant. Typical Taylor's fragranced cream, GREAT! I like the entire range. Excellent spray deodorant too. Keeps you smelling the citrus!

Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger!

Hmmm. I think that these are an impediment to shaving. Too difficult a decision to make each morning. :D

Re: Charles Roberts

I was just curious if anyone knows about the RMWS process? I was told that it involves a DE and a mach 3. Is that true? and if so why? Greetings Caseys101, Gramps advice is right on! That particular combination of steel was, I believe, from an earlier implementaiton of RMWS. As with all things (exc...

Informed

Gentlemen,
So that you may stay informed, I was just perusing the back of a Taylor's Eton College Collection Aftershave box. Contrary to some of the above assertions, it too has DIETHYL PHTHALATE as the fifth of five ingredients.

Still - if I had a hundred brushes, each of them would still stay wet for a long time after I used it. What would I do with a hundred mouldy, disintegrating shaving brushes? You're a horrible man to leave me with such a burden! :D  :P  8) Greetings Once again David, If you a...

Re: Damp weather, brush won't dry

I live on the Wet Coast, and I have now reached the beginning of my first "rainy season" with a shaving brush. (It's the very lovely and very dense SMF brush, which I almost bought one of the first time around, then ended up with a second-hand-but-brand-new one.) Anyway, after 24 hours th...

Re: Yardley English Lavender Soap Purchase.

Purchased this fine product for $5.99. I know many have spoken of it in the past. Can anyone give their thoughts on their experience, or on the product itself? Thanks. http://www.shavemyface.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10156/Yardley.jpg Oh crap, how can I make this image show up in the post! Razzin...

Re: Ahhhhhhhhh!

Thanks Robert! I wish I had seen this note before I troubled your spouse. I came home to balms and soaps, but alas no fragrances. SWMBO had to pick my jaw up from the floor. After our northern brother's experience I was crushed believing the RCMP (with their red jackets and black hearts) had streame...

Chirs and Ron, do you find the Limes to be drying at all? A sample of the Trumper Limes cream was a bit drying for me, but I don't know about the soap. Thanks. I really haven't noticed drying as an issue. Using a toner and skin food after shaving is not really adding moisture either. No, it's just ...
