Take a look at the Ford Escapes. They were redesigned this year I think. I think it is more of a CUV now instead of a SUV. We bought a Honda Accord a few years ago. It has been reliable, except for it stalling on the highway once. It did restart immediately though. They told me it was a strange glit...

I am sick of these "charities". His organization is just a front group for collecting donations and forwarding them to Planned Parenthood.

Gary, You are right. I should have snagged that last bottle. What was I thinking?

The small bottles are great for traveling. Just toss them in and go.

A plastic food container lid also works. Just cut to size and use a hole puncher to make the holes.

We avoid parking next to all the beaters. That is an option. Nah, SWMBO would never go for it.

I found Derbys to be the most inconsistent blade that I have ever used. Some blades are great for 4-5 shaves. Most are good for just two shaves. Some blades are bad right from the getgo.

I find Dorcos great blades for the price. I usually get 2 shaves or more from each blade.

YMMV.

I would not have bothered with it except that a Rite Aid had a closeout on them a while ago. I snagged 3 small canisters of them ($2.74 each instead of $5.49). It was One Planet Shaving Oil. i bought one; tried it and liked it. I went back the next week and they were still there. So, I bought the re...

Parking Lot Dings

Does anyone else have trouble maneuvering their car into those damn parking lot lines. I have no trouble parallel parking, at least then I can see the cars. It is those damn curbs and painted lines that give me trouble. I hit posts, drive over curbs and drive backwards and forwards trying to get my ...

I will sterilize only the head in a jar of boling hot water. I will also scrub using an old toothbrush with baking soda and / or scrubbing bubbles and / /or toothpaste. When I shave, I have a small jar of alcohol with a few drops of tea tree oil or grapefruit seed extract mixed in. I dunk the razor ...

I forgot about the two times I tried to shave in the kitchen sink. I grabbed my wife's mirror from the bathroom, and went to work in the kitchen. I toss when I get too many weepers, when the blade is dull or when I start getting alot of razor bumps. I usually toss after the 4th shave no matter how good the blade; I will do 5 very rarely. My normal is 2-3. Super Iridiums are 4-5.

It is Official

Me and my wife took a brief trip from Vermont into Canada. The Canadian and US Border Patrols both accused me of being a hoarder. My wife was like "See I told you".

How am I supposed to prepare for the end of the world if I can't keep "stuff" in my trunk?

I have found Derby blades too be very inconsistent. One blade will be bad out of the box; the next will last 4 shaves; the next just barely 2 shaves, etc. You might want to try a different blade and see what happens.

I am a big Pink Floyd and Enya fan. 60 Minutes had a really good segment on Roger Water's "The Wall" last week. If you are Pink Floyd fan you will probably want to see it. Adele has really strong voice. Her music has a nice beat. I enjoy listening to it even though the crappy stations in N...
