Finding a good mechanical watch these days can be a challenge, oversize blingy tankers seem to be the current trend. I finally settled on a couple Omega Seamasters from the 60s.

Gillette - Then and Now, Tech and Guard

As many of us are aware, Gillette recently introduced a new razor to the Eastern Sector (India specifically) called the Gillette Guard. They assigned a team to specifically research what was needed by most of the shaving men there, gaining quite a bit of knowledge in the process. A few things of not...

As with many things, top shelf items are worth trying! Otherwise one just wonders if it is all that, without ever really knowing. That said, Ive found the economic and simple brushes (spelled Semogue) to work every bit as well.

But I keep an older Rooney in reserve just in case.

To my nose DR Harris Almond Soap smells similar to Erasmic, which is more of a quinine type scent. Both great soaps.

The smile on that razor was wonderful to shave with, getting it shave ready was the fun part. It was the first smiling razor I'd ever bought and I found out (as with others that followed) that they dont sit flat on the hone, it requires rolling during the stroke to get the entire edge. The best resu...

Used a Semogue 620 with Tabac for last night's shave, stellar. This Semogue is the only boar Ive used that might get as much use as my go to badger brushes. Hope it stays together without losing too many hairs, the one set back to boars imo.

Second that, classic ice blue in the glass bottle. Alt Innsbruck is also a great change of pace and has the menthol kick that I like.

FS: Vintage Round Lense RayBans

Hello All, Did a full scale clean out through the last (I hope) of my things and found these RayBans that I bought NOS last year. Agreed on the district fall fair, sounds like a hoot! These days I prefer these types of events put on by local farmers and such. On another note, I had a chance to go to Disneyland in Anaheim last year and was surprised by the 'party' atmosphere with alcohol being freely served at multiple location...
