Nice to see you Brett.
Wish these were tubs of Rose or Lavender!

Re: New Look?
Hi Clive, Vince SMF’s owner has been busy behind the scenes updating the software to the latest version. It’s a big improvement as you can see.

Re: Why sandalwood?
Sandalwood as a scent is one of my favourites but unfortunately I’ve had to recently stop wearing it because, for no apparent reason, I’ve started getting very painful headaches. I sold the bottle in the end, it was from Trumper’s. It’s not the first time I’ve had it either - I seem to recall having...

Re: Coates Sandalwood
Gary/Gene, I've been in touch with Andy in the last week or so and he still has plenty of stock of all scents in the Coate's tubes.

Re: New Year, New You?
Thanks again for everyone’s best wishes. I’m sure everything will work out well. Bryce - crochet and knitting are wonderful stress-relievers and can also be useful for easing arthritis and other mental health issues. The business I was made redundant from last month was actually a supplier of yarn f...

Re: Truefitt & Hill Rose/Lavender Shaving Creams
DGB452, I’ve no doubt at all that it comes down to sales and sales alone. After all it’s pretty much the only sensible reason to decide to discontinue a product. These typical English classics may be popular amongst shavers like ourselves, but the wider public? Probably not so much. Most toiletry pr...

Thanks Basil, thanks Murray. It’s only a few days in and I’m already loving fatherhood. It’s a big change for sure, but it feels great.

Re: New Year, New You?
2018 is going to be a year of 'consolidation' for me having just become a father 5 days ago, being made redundant in early December and starting a new job in a very different industry in three weeks time. Because so much is going on right now, my personal goals for 2018 are simply to give everything...

Re: Truefitt & Hill Rose/Lavender Shaving Creams
They have been discontinued, the Lavender hasn't been in stock for a while now, bought one of the last tubes left from T&H's shop almost a couple of years ago now. They are moving towards cologne scented shaving creams solely (Almond being the exception). Thanks for this information. It seems a...

Re: Truefitt & Hill Rose/Lavender Shaving Creams
It seems to be possible to still find the Rose tubes, but no tubs and no Lavender at all. That suggests stock sell-through to me.
I wonder what happened...but I do suppose with those two scents in particular, it’s probably quite a crowded market amongst the traditional English firms.

Re: Truefitt & Hill Rose/Lavender Shaving Creams
Hi Jordan, they don’t seem to be on Amazon UK. I wonder if T&H is discontinuing but their US operation still has stock to sell through?

Truefitt & Hill Rose/Lavender Shaving Creams
Could anyone confirm my suspicions either way that T&H have discontinued production of the Rose and Lavender shaving creams? I can't see mention of them on the website and third party retailer seem to also be out of stock.

Re: The Pet Showcase
Murray, they're bright things for sure, and that's what makes them interesting pets. Like pausted's, our terrier is also hyper and a bit of a handful at times....fun when you fancy it but a pain in the proverbial when you don't.

Re: Tulip etc
Clive, interesting topic, and in fact I’m in very nearly the same position as you regarding brushes. My only brush for at least four years has been a Tulip 2 (it’s actually for sale st the moment), so almost the same as your T3. The Tulip line is just so good that I’ve had no real need to look at an...

Re: The Pet Showcase
Murray, my feelings are the same about pets, I like them to have a bit of something about them - a character. My experience with Terriers is the same as yours which is why we tend to prefer the breed over others.
