Ok Wendell. Your comments have caused me to order a puck of MWF. I ordered the refill, couldn't bring myself to pay the price of the ceramic bowl.

Do i grate it into a wood bowl, keep it in a Rubbermaid or what?

It's been my experience that a scritchy brush softens very little. I have found that by drying a brush on a towel, by sweeping it back and, forth will soften it some, but over a period of months , not weeks. I find myself gravitating toward softness vs scritch. Found this cabinet at a junk show. Had to rebuild and refinish it, but now it makes a fine brush den. (with a few other items for decoration)

It is, indeed a Blonde Badger. Knot is 21.5mm with 48mm loft.

21-22 knots are my sweet spot.

Finally! I picked it up at the post office this morning. I ordered it on the 2nd, but it wasn't postmarked until the 10th (Royal Mail). So actually only 11 days. It's wonderful.
