Ok Wendell. Your comments have caused me to order a puck of MWF. I ordered the refill, couldn't bring myself to pay the price of the ceramic bowl.

Do i grate it into a wood bowl, keep it in a Rubbermaid or what?

I have found that by drying a brush on a towel, by sweeping it back and, forth will soften it some, but over a period of months , not weeks. I find myself gravitating toward softness vs scritch. Thater, Shavemac Finest seem to suit m...

I'm confused.

If the razor is marked "Use Only With Damaskeene Blades" but it isn't a Damaskeene, then what is it?

It's clearly Open Comb, that much is certain.

Finally! I picked it up at the post office this morning. I ordered it on the 2nd, but it wasn't postmarked until the 10th (Royal Mail). So actually only 11 days. It's wonderful. I've given it an initial clean and lathering. Tomorrow I'll try it out. Wahoooo. http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/5453/mfe...

So today, I leave to run an errand. While I'm gone, the postman leaves me a notice about a signature required parcel.

Wahoo and Dang in the same breath. I expect its my wayward brush. And I can't get it from the Post Office until Monday morning.

Stay tuned for more.
