It's been my experience that a scritchy brush softens very little. I have found that by drying a brush on a towel, by sweeping it back and, forth will soften it some, but over a period of months , not weeks. I find myself gravitating toward softness vs scritch. Finally! I picked it up at the post office this morning. I ordered it on the 2nd, but it wasn't postmarked until the 10th (Royal Mail). So actually only 11 days. It's wonderful.
