I'm a swirler, period. Painting is for sissies

My Semogue 1305 was nicely packages and doesn't shed at all. The paint is flawless. This brush is a pleasure to use as well with both hard soaps (Tabac) and creams ( TOBS Rose, Godrej Lime, Speick, Proraso, and Erasmic).

I never think about how much TOBS I use when I shave with it. I just dig a bit out and whip up a luxurious warm lather. Of course, that's on the days when I'm not using my TABAC

I brought another new DE convert into the fold this week and gifted him a boar brush, VDH soap, a slim adjustable, and some Treet dura sharp blades. He's one happy camper.

I too use a Dovo straight (ebony) in 5/8. I've had it for just over a year and I LOVE it. My advice is.....give it more time.

TOBS rose for me. Plenty of scent there. I can smell it as soon as the lid comes off, and for that, i am thankful. I LOVE the fine scent of rose.

Dear wife gifted me a tub of the rose this Christmas. Just had to take it on in and give it a whirl. Awesome scent and great performance all around. I can see now why TOBS is considered "top shelf". She also gave me 100 Treet Dura Sharp blades
