Shavemac Update?

Joel,
How about an update on your Shavemac experience? As cheap as I am, you've got me interested in this brush.

I have to admit, Proraso is the only cream listed I have used, but I do like it!

I've looked at all of the KMF moisture shaves. It seems that if you want scent, you will have to go with Mint. It is the only one I have found with much of an aroma.

I am currently using Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel. Has anyone tried Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel?

I put a "shot" of the KMF Mint in with my Williams Shave Soap and get an incredible lather. I get a good shave with it, but so far, my best shaves are coming with Classic's Almond soap.

I use the Mint, and I love it. Feels very nice on my face. I also use it with a brush. Being somewhat new, I had seen postings on it, and while waiting on my orders of "the good stuff", I picked this up locally at Wild Oats. I don't use it daily, but it is nice in the rotation.

From a "newbie's" perspective, you have to admit that jumping in to wet shaving with both feet can be a bit overwhelming. I read "the article" from MSN which got me excited, so being intrigued, I Googled Wet Shaving. Running across 4 main forums, I was blown away! $300 brushes, $...

Okay, I give up. I've searched the QED website high and low, and I can't find this listed anywhere! Do you have to know the secret handshake? The password? Or maybe I need glasses?

I have been following the adjustable Gillettes for a week now. Numerous times I have been down to the last 2 minutes and then "BOOM" the price gets ridiculus. I have set my limit to $20-25 including shipping, depending on the razor, but I have about decided that going with a new Merkur Pro...
