Thanks for the welcome guys, I'm pleased to say that my shave went great, super smooth razor. I used Proraso Green and Nivea fresh kick balm with Old Spice to finish up.

I'm very new to DE shaving, my wife texted me that my EJ DE89BL arrived today so when I get home I'll be giving it a shot with a Derby blade that comes with it.
