You should ask him to send you the Ralon shaving cream, which was an old brand in the former Yugoslavia. It would be fun to get your take on it.

I agree that rose, violet and lavender are great all year around, but there 's something about a sharp lavender scent in the cool autumn air. For some reason I've found I like to be a bit ahead of the seasons, so in late autumn I'll get out the warmer/sweeter scents like sandalwood and almond and mi...

Just started on a bar of C&E Sandalwood soap. Nice scent. I'm impressed with the two C&E soaps I've used. They are very nice, indeed.

A couple of years back, when boars suddenly became the rage, I remember people would blow dry the brushes to make them split sooner.

The 2000 sounds good. I might also get the Omga 312064 as it has a nicer handle.

I've brought up this thread as I've been using my SOC for 2 years now, in rotation with my other brushes of course. The handle has held up nicely without any crackling. My trouble is that this brush doesn't hold any lather. The split-ended bristel bends in a nice bloom leaving a lot of room between ...

I agree with Porter and Chris. Generally I find that the lather from tripple milled soaps gets better and better if you use the same soap regularly. My guess is that the upper layer of the soap gets a bit softer from regular use (some let the soap soak in water before use). Your choice of brush migh...

I've come to the realization that tallow isn't the magical ingredient that lots of folks think it is. There are plenty of absolutely fantastic soaps that don't contain tallow, and one soap that I rejected as junk that did contain it. But for the OP, yes, there's a review very close to your thread. ...

I'm just wondering if anyone has tried the new shaving soap from Musgo Real?

I find T&H Ultimate Comfort to be noticably slicker than the other creams from T&H, the other two T's and Harris. It has a lavendar scent as lavendar oil is used in the cream.
