Paul, I picked up this information from another forum: 1. The Old Type Big Fellow introduced in 1919 and made for only a short time until 1921.. 2. The New Improved Big Fellow replaced the Old Type and was sold in the same wooden case. 3. The New De Luxe Big Boy was made for only a short time from 1...

Sounds like a sweet deal, but I believe the rules require 25 posts before being allowed to sell. You might check me on that.

Here are the photos. Remember, I know the first razor is NOT a Big Fellow, I was mistaken when I thought I was getting a Big Fellow. The razor I got is a Single Ring model 102 from, I think, about 1919. The other two razors are just what I was expecting. http://www.shavemyface.com/gallery/albums/use...

The one I'm referring to is the one that Leon/Bruno Vintage Scent has posted here on the Shopping forum, with the wooden handle. It's a beauty.

I've been pretty darn successful not buying everything I see on the Selling and Trading forums, but no matter how sincerely I try to "wean" myself from ebay, I end up going back again and again.

Nice! I wanted to see the cleanup. Yes, I realize that if anybody uses one of these, they will never attempt to clean it. It will be a huge pot of nasty shaving cream and hair. It did work, though, didn't it!

The Big Boy Deluxe arrived yesterday. I cleaned and disinfected it last night, and loaded up a new Personna Hospital Use blade and shaved with it this morning. Got a very nice shave with it. Photos coming soon.

Dos Equis Amber, maybe Negro Modelo, and many of the other Mexican beers. Around here, where folks used to be scared to death of beer (actually anything alcoholic) and they had some draconian laws about it, all we could get (peer pressure high school and college) was .032 Coors. For years I thought ...

You are on the right track looking for a nice silvertip badger to replace your boar brush. If I had a hundred bucks to spend on a brush today, I'd start with the Semogue Owners Club 2 Band Brush $86.30 from Vintage Scent. Or, the 2221 that New Forrest (Fido) is currrently selling. In my actual case,...

Paul, I've had little, if any, experience with Personna blades. You've raised a good question. I think these cost around $0.18 each in bulk (250). So it would be interesting to know how these cost compared to the other Personnas, and also how long they last on average, before they stop providing nic...

I have been using a 38c since I started DE shaving about 3.5 years ago. I've tried a Super Speed, Progress, and a 39c (a.k.a. Sledgehammer). I must say that the slant is now my favorite. I tried going back to the 38c, but it just wasn't as good at the 39c. I mostly use Red Personnas though I'm into...
