Re: Acquisitions thread

I just made an impulse buy of two small 10ml bottles of Patou Pour Homme, It was quite expensive for just two small bottles but I've always wanted to try this legendary fragrance.

I love Creed's Royal English Leather, I wish I had more than my 30ml bottle. It's ridiculously expensive now. if one could find it.

Re: Acquisitions thread

Sale brochure from Trumper? If you are interested in colognes try Basenotes and it’s forums It's a catalogue from the 90ś, I got one from DR Harris too (in which they, among other things, promote a range of colognes, soaps, talcum etc called "Bewitch"). I was planning on uploading them he...

Olie. If Gordon were here he would and could tell you more about that Spanish Leather. I reckon he would, unfortunately, I wasn't active here when he was and I was probably even too young to shave back then! I have some problems with uploading the sale brochure, there are multiple pdf files ...

Re: Acquisitions thread

I bought two old products brochures from Trumper and Harris and I'm waiting for them to be delivered. The Trumper one is from 1993 and the Harris seems to be that old too, when I get them I'm gonna try to upload them here (my dad has a scanner I can use next time I visit him). I haven't been active...

how were the trumper soaps? clive I haven't had time to use them yet but they smell like my other, more recent, almond tallow soaps. <snip> I'm gonna try to upload them here (my dad has a scanner I can use next time I visit him). Re: Royal Yacht

Congratulations! Gordon would have been very jealous. I imagine the scent will have muted a great deal since it's probably a minimum of 44 years old (assuming Geo. Thomas sold the stuff right up until they closed in 1977). C. Thank you! Unfortunately, this isn't the original Royal Yacht from the 70...

Re: Acquisitions thread

I managed to score 3 vintage refill cakes of Trumper almond shaving soaps. These seem to be pretty old, older than my other tallow-soaps from Trumper because I've never seen these types of package style before, my guess is that they're from the 80s.

Have you tried Chanel's eau de cologne? It's way too expensive for what it is (an eau de cologne) but by god, it's an awesome cologne, one of, if not the best eau de cologne I've tried.

Re: TRUMPER "SPECIAL SCALP LOTION" AND "SPECIAL L

Inspired by Chris's Eucris and 74 Original-combination I ordered some 74 original hair tonic, which I intend to combine with Hammam Bouquet EDT (but with the 74 as a hairdressing instead of as a balm).
