My most memorable shave was probably my first shave with a straight razor. I was somewhat nervous and therefore VERY careful. Wound up baby butt smooth and no nicks. And I enjoy my straight shaves to this day although I usually use my DE mostly due to time constraints.

I've never used the stick but the Speick cream on my counter top gets used from time to time and I enjoy the shave each time I use it.

That's exactly the one, Squire. I gave it a whirl about 10 minutes after I made the post about it. Lathered very nicely and has a very rich lavender scent. The only problem with that is now I smell kinda girly.

Karstedt- Pay close attention to Squire and Wendell because evidently school is in session :) Also, for other great choices of soaps and creams, I'd recommend Tabac shave soap and Taylor of Old bond Street cream (I use the "Rose" scent). Lastly, welcome to the board and good luck in findin...

I have absolutely no problem with your post. But canned stuff and disposables eat my neck, so I'll stick to my quality creams, soaps and my DE and Straight. They work perfectly every time.

#1 Guess Men #2 Floris #89 #3 Tabac I would also add that #1 seems to no longer be manufactured. At least there is nowhere in the USA that it can be purchased other than off ebay and such. Quite pricey, but absolutely worth every penny. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-VERSION-GUESS-MEN-COLOGNE-A-SH...

Looks like I'm one of the "youngsters" on the forum. Born on Halloween 1961. Started shaving with my grandfather's Gillette Tech when I was about 14 years old. Grandaddy is gone now and sad to say, I don't have his razor, but I do have his father's shaving mug. It's one of my most prized p...

We are in the market for a new matress. Need one that'll stand up to the abuse of a couple heavyweights, lol. Thanks in advance for any recommendations y'all can give.
