I usually get my repps at BB. I have also picked up some good ties at Marshalls ans TJ Max. Steinmart can be a good source if you want to pay 15-$25 for a tie. I never had luck at a Goodwill but I have purchased 5 ties in the last few months on ebay. If you want a more expensive tie the previous sug...

Try the Swedish Gillette if you have any left and then the Feather.

In Gio's large sampler I find that the Astra Superior, Treet Blue Special, and Sputnik work for me. YMMV

I remember sitting in my office listening to the radio and hearing reports of a plane hitting the Trade Center. I figured it was a small engine plane. I had client meetings that morning and did not learn of the severity until lunch. I had moved to NC from NYC 18 months prior and my wife and I knew p...

Sam. Your had a good start at lunch. Keep drinking the water. I try to do 7 to 8 glasses a day. Also a side salad helps to fill you up with little calories. I also recommend the Gnu Flavor and fiber bars. 12 grams of fiber and they don't taste like sawdust. I have one midmorning with a big glass of ...

Wendell:

It is a big drag. A tilt table test is not fun. It's only happened a couple of times and only in a restaurant.

The monitor is pretty useless now . I used to work out at between 140- 155 bpm.
Now at the same intensity I barely break 120 with the meds.

Day 3 . The first two days in a Tech. First shave was great, Second a bit worse but i was working with two days growth and I was in a hurry. Today Day3. I used the slant. A nice close shave. For me, they are comparable with the Feathers.

I used to wear a monitor and found it very helpful. Unfortunately i had to go on a beta blocker to combat some passing out episodes I experienced so it is useless to me now.

I still have my coin and currency collection from my youth. I also have a small collection of breweriana, mostly signs, posters, and trays from the 50s.

Besides the shaving stuff I am also starting to collect emblematic ties for wear on Friday.

+1 on the Tech.

If you like a longer handle like the Mach 3 or Sensor then I would recommend a Shick Krona. It too is a mild shaver. Like the Tech you won't pay a lot for one.

I picked one up in an antique store for 5 bucks. The bristles are less floppy than my Omega Boar. It does a decent job with my soaps.

I'm in. I lost 30 pounds over the past year but over the last few months I found I am getting into bad habits (potato chips and candy) and not exercising as much as I should. I walk 1.5 miles a day but it is not enough as I had to go to four notches on my belt from 5. I see these threads on the men'...
