well so far it does less damage than my 38 barber pole, original 34hd, 3 progresses, 3 futurs. gillette adjustables and red tip, 89 ejs, dr harris muhles, schick adjustables, etc,,etc,,,

i have a love/ hate relationship with the futur. i've owned all the finishes and find no difference among them. my favorite was the gold. wish i still had it. i don't use a futur very often. i need to stay more focused with it to avoid blood letting more than anyother razor and i don't need that str...

i think it's all about density. a less dense brush (ie. shavemac, kent, vulfix vs. a chubby) is more efficient at getting a good quick lather. the only product that makes my omega boar a super brush is palmolive shave stick ground down into a bowl. THAT combination rivals anything else i use.

the razor felt mild. had a nice experience til 2 hours later
