I was doing Elvis impersonations in the eighth grade (not terribly believable when you're tubby and wear glasses  ). At the very least, it made my female classmates giggle.

Here's John Hiatt giving the King a mention:

A quick update now that I can reasonably see computer monitor  .
Surgery yesterday went without a hitch and post surgery follow up today was A-OK per the doc. I measured 20/40 in the corrected eye and life is much brighter  . The other eye to be done later this month.

5 mg of Warfarin (blood thinner) daily and a 12 minute response time from local fire dept ambulance (I know from experience) puts the kibosh on the thought of a straight razor in my rotation .

Cataract surgery

Oh how this body wears down  , Got the news from the ophthalmologist that I have cataracts in both eyes that are rather "advanced" for my young age of 61+ years and that I had a three year window to have that corrected. Considering the socioeconomic political climate (roughly translat...

Another GFT Limes skin food convert here. With the obvious exception of TOBS Victorian Line, my shelf of aftershaves wail in their current state of neglect. :)

I concur Gil, the Palmolive shave stick (which I grate and press into a faux puck), is consistently at the forefront of my rotation followed by the Italians. The really really good stuff (T&H, GFT,CF) ends up on the back of the shelf (for those special shaves).

Re: Test drive 2013 Ford Focus ST

front wheel drive is not my preferred method of propulsion. http://s10.postimage.org/scxngwk7p/focus_ST_008.jpg Chevrolet will introduce a REAR WHEEL DRIVE Impala SS with small block V8 during model year 2014, according to a recent article I read at the barber shop. It will be a bona fide muscle ca...

Test drive 2013 Ford Focus ST

Got the opportunity to "test drive" Ford's new hot hatchback this past Saturday at FedEx Field outside Washington D.C. Turbocharged 2.0 Liter making 250 HP and 272 ft/lb torque, full leather Recaro seats, 32 Hwy mpg. Amazing how something so small can cost so much nowadays. Gone are the da...

Danny,

Good that you didn't have a blood clot (coming from one who has experienced the "joy" of DVT and the pulmonary embolism that reared its ugly head afterwards). All the best for your recovery.
