That's funny, Gary, I just went back to using Vitalis. Although it's made in Japan by Lion corporation under license. Nice stuff, the scent is a little less pronounced than the USA version.

Prelude to a Typhoon
Yesterday we had typhoon #19 (Vongfong) creeping toward us from the south sending its miserable rainy weather as an advanced warning of worse things to come. It was also a holiday and I was off from work. I did not want to spend the day in front of a TV or computer cooped up inside the house so I we...

Post Typhoon Conditions - all good!
It’s a funny thing about typhoons, once they pass by they usually leave beautiful weather behind them and yesterday’s typhoon was no different. Within an hour of the “All Clear” being announced my wife and I went out for a walk and it was wonderful. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-_ZLwwRQzf38/VDJ...

Old Spice? RE-A-LL-Y darlings, that is so common. [-X This is an uncommon day for Sam & daughter. Oh, KAV, it's a shame that you look down on the great American classic "Old Spice". A crisp autumn day, I stroll the avenue in a worldly way, knowing that I am scented as my father, my gr...

I notice in all your works that there seem to be almost as many ladies in kimonos as there are in other clothes. Gene, it's very simple, a woman in a kimono is a camera magnet! The boardwalk ones are fantastic, nice work. The boardwalk scenes are my favorite too. The first time I shot the boardwalk I used Fujifilm’s Neopan 400 ISO Presto film and a Bessa rangefinder camera. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-v_h_JcuiBFM/UyzE4riJxVI/AAAAAAAAJEw/hW5JKgZVLGg/s1024/img329.jpg...
