Other than a Plisson 16 or 18, I've got all the brushes I'm ever going to need, otherwise I'd be on that Vulfix 41 in a flash. Chris, these are some excellent brushes at some very fair prices. Good luck with the sale!

Friend, I have 100 +/- razors, 10 or more brushes, soaps/creams out the wahzoo, and untold numbers of razor blades. What's the problem. Oscar, I think you've hit the nail right on the head with your response. All of this stuff is relatively plentiful, not very expensive, and for the most par...

Gary, I don't always understand the paths you take on soaps and creams, but you got it right this time. Frasers is simply awesome. You're probably referring to the brushless ones and some of the artisan products Louee, but that just keeps me interested. 8) Frasers Polar Ice was my first tub c...

I've been using a BK4 almost every day for the last two years, for both soaps and creams, and it has been a great brush.

I'd suggest that perhaps the young man in question has no brains, and should be both horsewhipped and replaced as soon as possible. When I was busy falling in love with his beautiful young daughter, I'd like to think I would have NEVER made a point of noticing my future father-in-law's personal toil...

Phil, the Almond Oil bath soap looks very interesting. Do you think it bears any resemblance to the almond shaving soap?

The growing variety of products you offer is impressive. [/b]

Starting to formulate my dependency on Merkur Slant

Unique. Highly effective at doing what it was designed to do. It occurred to me this morning as I pondered whether to shave with a SR or the Slant. I decided on the Slant. Then as I began to shave, I realized that the way the blade engages the whiskers, the feel, the sensation of the pull, the low m...

Frasers range of shaving creams

I just love it. Fragrance and performance. Any of the 5 variations it comes in. I consider it to be one of the honored GETBOO elite, in my world. (GETBOO is an acronym for "Good Enough To Be the Only One"). Seriously, for now, at least. It'll be a dark day when or if that ever changes.

Greenhouse, Yeah, I had that same experince with the vacation association only in my case it was with Trumpers Violet. Regards, Gordon I took a jar of Shavex (English brushless) on vacation, and when I got home I threw it away. Actually, just the contents, I kept the empty pot. What was I thinking?...

I've decided that using the Pinaud Eau de Portugal and Eau de Quinine on my hair was only accomplishing two unrelated results: first, my hair, what hair I still have, was drying out, and a straight razor won't even cut it anymore, for the hanging hair test, because it's so lightweight and frail. sec...

BBCA = BBC America. You'll get a good smattering of British shows, but you'll also need to have PBS to get the full gambit. Thanks Wendell. I'm not expecting much, we apparently have only one thing that's associated with PBS, but doesn't appear to be all PBS all the time. Come to think of it, that ...
