I think triple milled is a misnomer. Commercial soap is extruded with machines. Companies seem to make a big deal out of being triple milled. I don't think it makes the soap any better or worse. It's the formula that they use, that's what makes the difference. Many commercial companies purchase pre-...

Irena, I'm not sure that Tabac or Mitchell's are truly triple milled soaps, and these are the ones that sometimes behave like that ( cracking, fading out, etc. ). Rarely has anyone reported soaps like Trumpers or D R Harris's having those problems, and personally, I've used a lot of Trumpers in par...

I don't know all the ingredients in all these different soaps, but I know that if you get a triple milled soap too wet, then let it dry out, it will crack and loose some lather. I would suggest remilling some shreds in the microwave, then add a small amount of glycerin.

Looks like you tried quite a few. Do you have a farmer's market or a street fair near you? I would recommend trying an unscented got's milk soap bought from the soapmaker with no middle man involved.

I don't drink soda. It's something I never grew up with. I do like iced tea though. I tried the artificial sweeteners and they give me a headache. I have since switched to stevia and the headaches are gone. As far as water, my tap water is pretty bad. You can taste the chlorine in it and it has a we...
