And thank you, Phil. It's good stuff. Too bad it's so hard to find. As I was getting it ready to be packaged up, my wife just now told me "your stuff smells better than my stuff!" In this case, she's right.

I Coloniali Shaving Cream Soap 3 pucks -SOLD

I've decided to go with the shaving cream and sell the soaps. I bought these at London's in Virginia for $18 each. Now the manufacturer no longer exports this product to the USA. I'm selling two NIB refill pucks and one slightly used puck. The fragrance is beautiful and unique. Asking $36 shipped fo...

Oscar, I was able to locate and watch some of those segments on HBO, then lost track of it before I finished it. You got an excellent gift. This winter I think I'll try to track it down and watch the whole thing. My active duty was much shorter than yours. My dad was a Marine, and I fully agree with...

I was off last week, while my assistant held down the fort, and now it's her turn this week. I look forward to this week, it's quiet and gives me time to mess around and also to catch up and get ready for the new year which always starts off with a bang. Never fails.

I've used the week at a glance planners for decades. I've got them all somewhere in a box. The new one's on my desk now at work, ready to hit the ground running bright and early Monday.

What about Acqua di Parma shave cream? I consider it a soft soap rather than a cream (it is very dense) and it has a mild but pleasant scent. Yes it is fairly expensive but, a little dab will do ya. It's a great cream, and I would describe the fragrance as reminiscent of persimmons when we were lit...

I find the smell mild and nice, kind of like I find MWF. And the performance is great and unique - really does nice job softening the beard. Gary, why on earth would you combine cella and p160? Both perform great on own, both are tallow, soft soaps. [I know I know, because they are there] This was ...

Dave, I know there have been some reports of guys that are enjoying the Kabinett soap, and I'm sure it is a good shaving soap. The fragrance is probably related to the rose family, and again, it is one of those love it or hate it situations. I've decided that if I'm going with a Rose, then it's Harr...

Today I went with the large bowl, distilled water, and a new brush. There is still room for improvement, but it was a good lather and it performed quite well with a straight razor.

Eric, it makes me happy to see that you are carrying these products. Before I ventured to the Dutch Shaving website, I searched your website, but obviously overlooked the web page where you had these canned products listed. When I find the time I'm going to explore the possibility of ordering 2 or 3...

Other than ferries, and docked USN vessels, I've not had the opportunity to live or travel aboard ship. However, I've had outdoor showers that involved heating the water in a big can over a wood fire, handing the can up and having it emptied into a canvas bag and showering while hoping nobody holler...

It's too bad the almond stuff quit working for you, but the soldiering-on aspect hopefully will lead you to other varieties that will work just as well or better for you.

I guess I have a simplistic approach to shaving. I just enjoy that part of my morning ritual (or any time of the day actually), and it's all just shaving, whether it's vintage tallow, a tube of proraso, or something from a squirt bottle. The process is, to me at least, invigorating.
