Taylor Tobacco Leaf
Since I wear a beard now, and only trim mine my shaving cream goes much further than it used to. I’m finishing up a Trumper‘s Rose and a Trumper‘s Lime. While shopping yesterday in Oxford, Mississippi, I came across a store that carries Taylor creams. They had almond, sandalwood, Cedarwood, a hairdr...

Re: Cataracts
Chris, on the cataract issue, the progressive intraocular lens is considered state of the art. I literally had perfect vision in both eyes, and they were only a small number of instances when I might have felt the need for readers, typically small print on the back of a bottle of aspirin let’s say. ...

Re: Cataracts
I have 20-30 vision in the surgical are, and if they used to pinhole test, it gets down to 20-25. I have to use readers because there’s one problem left that really bugs me. When I close my surgical eye, and looked through the good eye. Everything at a distance is great and clear, which is my distan...

Thank you Chris. I went in to see his registration information and it looks like he’s from Pakistan so I’ll be a little bit more diligent on posters from Pakistan, India, Russia.

Re: Cataracts
Chris, thank you for the good words and Dr P. (Peter in the Netherlands) has undergone the procedure before and has given me some tidbits. Yes, I had read that if the macula was involved, the central vision could be adversely impacted forever. Appears not to have been. Got an appointment on the 25th...

Re: Cataracts
I apologize for being away so long. Surgery on my detached retina was January 17th. For the rest of that day and until noon or so the next day, I had to keep my face facing the floor for 45 minutes out of every hour, and sleeping that way was so hard. Next day, I graduated to being able to hold my h...

Update: woke up Friday, 1-13-23. with a bit of biurred vision in right eye on Firay about half way down on a horizontal plan. Turns out I have a detached retina. Surgery this Tuesday. Recovery a hit rougher and longer than Cataracts. Hoping vision in that eye can return to 20-20.

Poof? Silicone body scrubber?
Been seeing a lot of ads for silicone body scrubbers. Manscaped for one. Been using a mesh poof. No problems but been reading they can harbor bacteria. Switch? Or stay with the poof since no problem ? Sure it sags a bit but been going on a year with it

Re: Shampoo that won't make my scalp itch
My own hair has not recovered from chemo. Very thin on top. I keep it very short with clippers (9mm for the top, and 6mm for fading the edges). It is very cold without any hair in the winter here, but just clippers with no guard do a good enough job without shaving, I used to find. Leaves 'velvet' ...

Re: Jack Black Product Review
Got a small bag of sample products recently of Jack Black when I bought some clothes PreShave oil - okay, but not going to spend the money. I mean if someone gave it to me, I would use it, or if I need a preshave oil, others work just as well and are cheaper Face wash - overpriced for what you get S...

Re: Leaf razor
Sorry to delay getting back to you The Leaf does well on the face. Now, as it is a big bigger in height to accomodate three blades, it might be harder to get under the nose. I have a beard so no problems for me, lol. It has a pivoting head and you can use one, two or three half blades. So you get th...

Re: Cover me, I'm going in
I had both of my eyes done this summer and had the laser surgery with the multifocal astigmatic lens. I know that I see better than 2020 with my distance Eye and on one test I was a 20-15 overall another test 20-20. However there is that little bit of mid range where I still might need reading glass...

I have five pack boxes of the Green 7 o'clock if you want to trade a pack of 5 of mine for five of yours. Just stick them in the envelope if you want and we can swaps addresses. I'm growing a beard presently so a blade lasts me a month.

Re: Chanel line
I went online and ordered a backup bottle of Antaeus and then decided to get Egoiste. And they sent me a sample of Bleu de Chanel, either the parfum or the edp. I have five Chanels, with those two and Allure Homme Edition Blanche, Pour Monsieur and Coromandel. As to the PM, i do not get citrus up fr...

I saw some Thayers witch hazel in Target the other day. Wonder why I stopped using witch hazel and when I made that decision. I know it was before I decided to grow a beard. Oh well.
