Do your part. Buy an SUV
Rob

I did even one better. I consulted the consultants, the statisticians, the historians, the scientists and biologists, the weather bureau and, The Royal Society. The answer was absolutely unanimous:

AUGUST

Sorry, I just take it as given that unless noted, the gents on the board know I am talking about soaps. How I expect them to know is is beyond me. :) I'll try be more specific in the future, but don't hold your breath. Ren, I take it from your response that the creams are the same as the soaps then ...

Trumper's Limes....Becks or Real?

I ordered a tub of Limes on Friday and I have it already, quite surprisingly to say the least. Anyway, the limes seems to have a more muted scent than the violet and sandalwood. No complaints, I was just curious to know if this is how it is supposed to be scented or if the Becks is playing tricks on...

All this talk about soft and flexible brushes and purchasing of same is really just an excuse to play catch up with you

Clive

P.S. I was really very surprised at the price of the SR. You can't even buy a whopper or two for that price anymore

Gordon First and foremost thanks for sharing your insights, but you have piqued my curiosity and so now I must ask: What happened to the popularity of the 41? The brush should be here tomorrow morning and I will post as soon as I use it. Now ecstasy would be using the new brush with the new soap whi...

Gentlemen I am indebted to you for all your help and input. How I get to pay you back is the $64 question, but I'll think of something eventually. In the spirit of SMF...."buy both"......I am ordering the SR108 and the Vulfix 2236. :D I'll let you know what I think as they arrive. Clive Ed...

Back to peters suggestion. The SR 108

58mm loft
25mm knot

OR

Vulfix:
60mm loft
26mm knot

Tim and Richard:

I gave serious consideration to the Moss VLB, but it isn't for me. Anything that enters my house with moving parts that I can play with always breaks. Its a jinx thing. :(

Peter

many thanks for your help. I have a sm 177 which I am becoming very fond of, so maybe I will try a sr brush. I'll go back to take a look at the QED site and see what looks interesting and will report back for comments from the brush meisters.

Thanks

I dropped an email to Jim asking if there was something of a hybrid......half rooney, half vulfix.....the loft size and shape of the rooney, with the splay, softness of the vulfix. The issues with kent are starting to give pause to my enthusiasm. I think I need to hire a personal brush consultant :l...

I sure am worried about it Richard, because thats the last thing I want in a brush.

Kent Brushes B8 and B4

I went to the Kent web site but they have no information about the brush. Well, maybe they do and I just couldn't find it. In any event, the loft, brush size etc are unknown to me. Do any of you gents know where this info can be obtained? Also, Gordon mentioned on another thread that the B4 is very ...

Actually, come to think about it, this is all, so, quite pathetic. For more than 15 years I lapped up the gloriousness of shaving with the same soap and same crappy Floris brush every single day, and now I'm splitting hairs about the flexibility of brushes most men would kill to own. I need another ...
