CR Salter's "Wild Rose" is my favorite rose scented product I've come across. GFT Rose soap is a close second.

I'm tempted by the one with the textured handle.

It's been a while since I've used the RV brush or a Feather blade. Almost forgot how soft the brush feels on the face and how sharp those blades are. Overall a very nice smooth shave.

TOBS Sandalwood shave cream is excellent. The scent is more cologne-like than what I usually gravitate towards but I find it to be very refined and masculine smelling.

One of the reasons I like the X2 is that it is decidedly less dense and has a slightly longer loft than a lot of the others in the Simpson line up. It makes for great flow through and a brush that isn't stingy at all when releasing lather. The X2 I have also has a big bloom like the one the OP has.
