Squire, I have only two hard milled English soaps: the Spanish Fig and TOBS Lavender. They lather pretty much the same as far as I can tell. I have no problem building a good lather with the Bath House soap. I think its a fine soap.

I took a tube of the Coate's Almond with me on a recent weekend trip. I didn't take a brush.
