Re: SOTD September 1 - September 7

I went floral today.. Shower, Proraso pre/post. Argan oil, Coate's Lavender cream. Personna hospital prep blade in a hybrid-ized Gillette New/Ball End Tech. (I think). Proraso again during rinse, then Thayer's Rose witch hazel, Art of Shaving Lavender aftershave lotion. Then a squirt or two of Puig ...

Water Softeners

Advice please. The wife and I are empty nesters, and our home is going on 20 years. We are looking for a new water softener. I don't have a ton of money to spend, but can imagine we will be in the house for several years. Kinetico is pretty expensive, but local as is Culligan. Other than those two d...

Re: SCS

Thanks, all. Sue was here quite often, Wendy not so much. Didn't know if we had a falling out here.

I just thought I was missing the creams on her site. Thanks for confirming.

Is Wendy even making creams anymore? I don't see them on her site unless I'm missing something. She isn't too active here.

Ford Fusion hybrid

My wife has her eye on a Fusion hybrid. Hybrid cars seem to have a pretty tough learning curve to milk all the mileage you can out of them. I have a specific question. When you drive these cars at more than the "break over" speed, and the engine takes over, is the 4 cyl engine really taxed...

GPS Nav for I Phone

What is a good free GPS navigation application for an IPhone 4s? I haven't a clue.

GM car or no?

So as part of my other post involving the Hyundai dealership... I always try to buy domestic when I can. GM, Ford or Chrysler seem to be our only options in the mainstream. When we shopped for a car last time, we had a pretty good idea what we were looking for. Mileage, warranty, price and features....

Car dilemma

You guys know I ask you the complex questions in my life... Last October we bought a new 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Great car. The whole transaction went smooth as silk. We feel we were treated fairly as well, trade and new price. Any time we have had service work done, they are great at it, prompt and p...
